My research is in noncommutative and Poisson algebra, with an emphasis on automorphism groups of polynomial Poisson algebras.
One direction of my work studies Poisson algebras associated to homogeneous potentials, including Fermat-type curves. In this setting, I am interested in computing Poisson automorphism groups and comparing them with automorphism groups of associated algebraic curves. This work also involves understanding the limitations of valuation methods in low-degree and zero-level cases.
Another direction concerns graded Poisson automorphisms of semiclassical limits of quantum affine spaces. This project is motivated by the relationship between quantum algebras and their semiclassical Poisson analogues.
